Special Clinical Interest:  Dr. Denny and his staff focus on preventive care. To reward the children that have no decay, he has installed a brand new “No Decay Club” board where children who are decay free can write their name and then visit his treasure chest! Every visit begins in our 3 sink area – just like in our houses – where the children will “show off” their brush and floss skills to their parents and a member of our staff.  Dr. Denny believes going to the dentist should be a fun, easy experience for the child and parent.

Most Satisfying Part of My Practice:   Providing a happy  experience focused on improving every child’s dental health! By starting early, we can show families that it can be easy to prevent cavities and gum disease. Seeing a child expecting to be told what to do and learn over time to take responsibility for their own dental health over time brings me great joy.

Most Satisfying Case:  Jennifer, a 9 year-old girl, was playing soccer on the playground at school and knocked out a front tooth. She was in a lot of pain and her mother was in tears with worries about Jennifer’s pain and appearance. The school contacted me because I treated many of their children and they knew I would do all I could as quickly as possible. I saw Jennifer within an hour. When I put the tooth back into its socket and showed mom and Jennifer she had her smile back ,everybody calmed down and I was able to splint the tooth to the adjacent teeth. A week or two later I was able to remove the support. The tooth returned to normal and I was pleased when mom sent me her graduation picture years later with “my” tooth front and center!
